Meet Our Team

 

Ron Martin CIC, CISR

President

Ron is a founding partner of RMG Insurance and President of the agency. He is responsible for sales of both personal and commercial accounts, as well as the marketing and management of the agency and its technology. Ron attended LaSalle College High School, graduating in 1982. He went on to the University of Delaware, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing in 1986.

Ron worked with his father’s insurance agency in lower Montgomery County, developing the automation system and workflows, then managing the daily operations of the firm. He also expanded the marketing territory to Central Bucks County and the Lehigh Valley becoming co-owner is 1996.

Ron earned the CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation in 1990, and his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) in 1992.

Ron has been involved with many community and industry affair organizations, serving as Chairperson for Harleysville Insurance’s Users Group, AMS’ Easter PA User Group, the Central Bucks Chamber’s Bucks Fever Filmfest, and the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the University of Delaware Alumni Club. He also serves on the board of the Community Conservatory in Doylestown. In 2006, he developed an annual ladies gourmet golf outing to raise money for local non-profits. The outing has generated over $40,000 during that time.

Ron lives in Warrington with his wife, Susan, and their two boys, Kyle and Connor. Ron is an avid golfer, enjoys the beach, discovering new musical artists and supports the local wine trails. 

 

Mish Ganssle, CPCU CIC

Vice-President

Mish is a founding partner of RMG Insurance and Vice President of the agency. She is responsible for sales of both personal and commercial accounts. She is a native of the Lehigh Valley, having graduated from Saucon Valley High School in 1985. Mish graduated in 1989 from Grove City College, with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Economics.

Upon graduation, Mish began her insurance career as a marketing trainee with Westfield Insurance Group in Medina, OH and was assigned a field underwriting position in Chicago Illinois. She accepted promotions to a senior underwriting position in Ohio, then a senior marketing manager position in Indianapolis. She joined Selective Insurance Company in 1996, accepting a territory assignment in Atlanta Georgia. Family reasons brought her back to Bethlehem in 1998, when she joined a local insurance agency as an agent/broker.

In 1995, she received her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation , and her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) in 2002.

Mish’s extensive involvement with community and industry affairs includes serving on the boards of the following organizations: Victory House of the Lehigh Valley, Easton Main Street Initiative, Communities in Schools of the Lehigh Valley, Hugh Moore Historical Park & Museum and Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corp. Since 2006, she has hosted an annual ladies golf outing to raise money for the 85-year old non-profit, State Theatre of Easton

Mish has also served as past President of the CPCU Society Lehigh Valley Chapter, member on the Westfield Insurance Agency Panel, and earned the 2008 SUITS Award for Insurance. Mish lives in Bethlehem, and enjoys golf, wine trails and donating her time and efforts to support civic, charitable and cultural endeavors that strengthen our community.

Teri VanHorn, AAI

Commercial Account Manager

Teri has been a licensed property and casualty agent since 1976, and earned her Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI) designation in 1985, and her Life/Health & Accident license in 2003. She is responsible for the daily servicing of commercial accounts, and markets insurance programs for prospects and current clients.

Prior to joining RMG, Teri worked for a Bucks County agency, where she served as branch manager for one of their three locations. She has supervised personnel, managed new and renewal accounts, and specialized in agency book rollovers.

A native of Bucks County, Teri lives in Pipersville PA with her husband, Bill and their three children.
